iluvtofly 0 #11 January 13, 2008 Promotion? HA...I've been trying for 2 months now just to get benefits. The problem comes with the fact that TECHNICALLY I'm part time but I've been working over 40 hours a week for several months now. I love my job and don't mind in the least working all those hours but I would like the benefits that are supposed to come with working that much. Also there's really nothing for me to get promoted to. Though a pay raise would be nice. But once again he's a bit tight fisted when it comes to that stuff. One of the guys I work with just got his first pay raise in 6 years and that was only because minimum wage went up. But that's the world of EMS for ya. I love my job though and that's what matters.
