My warranty if up on my truck so I thought I would trick it out a little... nothing really fancy... just some nice agressive 35" x 12.5" tires on some nice 18" rims... I thought for a few minutes about the 38" or bigger tires.. but shit... that was over $4000 dollars... and with a lift.... hell that was more than the brand new Dodge I bought in 1976

I am not liking the 21st century pricing right now..


I am still not sure how much I want to lift this thing... Tomorrow I get to spend the day checking out some of the local shops to see if they can beat the Les Swaub price for that...

Hey I volunteered .. they think I am nuts but I told them I was serious.... give me.... flaps.... gear down.... 5k over Paine Field give me the port side rear door.. heck I even checked it out... no problem with the horizontal stabilizer.... but hell they declined.

i take my 03 f-150 on roads barely fit for a 4 wheeler. the brush here is brutal on paint. my friends give me shit, but i bough it to use. what i want next will be around $60,000, so i think i'll keep it off the narrow trails though.

Well the 03 Diesel 4x4 was pretty spendy at the time.. but its paid off.... and yes I have a few dings but nothing really bad... well except where I backed into the damn boat trailer... and this freakin tree in the parking lot.. I suppose I should get a new tailgate.. but hell... I like its battle scars.

I did that too...crumpled up the license plate, thankfully that was all. It's still on there 4 years later. Been wondering when I would get a new one.
