flygirl1 0 #1 January 24, 2008 Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Anyone had to deal with this before? I had some nerve damage from my leg injury so my Orthopedic surgeon sent me to a nerve specialist and he diagnosed me with these. He said that everyone heals at a different rate and it can take a long time. I currently go to physical twice a week and I was getting better but, I feel like I've hit a plateau lately and it's getting kind frustrating I was wondering if anyone here has had this and how long it took them to recover. Thanks for the infoFly like a girl

And technically, rubbing the skin off your palm is not a "wrist injury". _____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness... tigra 0 #17 January 24, 2008 If I remember correctly, you did a LOT of damage. Just keep plugging away, do your therapy and don't lose hope. Sometimes it seems like you've hit a plateau and you really haven't- the improvements you are making are just less noticable. Nerve damage and soft tissue damage heal at their own pace. Also, after the bones have healed, sometimes removing the hardware can help with the nerve damage. Its worth looking into when the time is right. flygirl1 0 #18 January 24, 2008 Thanks for the encouragementI think I might ask the doctor about taking the hardware out. I'm sure it's not helping. Those screws look really long Fly like a girl
