Nightingale 0 #5 January 25, 2008 QuotePapillons are PRECIOUS! Okay, you know it's coming . . . what's his name? He has a kennel name, but I don't like it, so I'm going to call him something else. I'm just not sure what yet. I find that if you keep an animal around, they usually name themselves somehow.
Jewels 0 #6 January 25, 2008 They have a way of doing that. He looks FULL of personality! I suspect you're going to have your hands full. TPM Sister #
Nightingale 0 #7 January 25, 2008 Quote He looks incredibly noisy. Blues, Dave Some paps are yappy, others aren't. His breeder says he isn't and will only bark if he hears something he thinks you need to know about rather than just barking at everything.

ACMESkydiver 0 #13 January 25, 2008 My friend has a Papillon named 'Tula'. She's such a spoiled baby! She's freakishly big for a Papillon, though...I'd guess she's time and a half as big as that lil' guy you posted! Tula isn't yappy either...and my friend just adores her. Good luck! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

Mine NEVER barks in the house, just outside in the yard when she hears something that she can't see on the other side of the privacy fence. It just seems like she barks at everything. I think people forget they're not dogs and do all kinds of silly things such as dressing them up like dolls! Frilly dresses do not belong on canines! Muenkel 0 #23 January 25, 2008 I like him, very cute? What are you calling him in the meantime? My sister has a toy poodle (or a miniature), I never remember. Anyway, he also weighs 6lbs 8ozs. I'm sure you know this but keep in mind you need to protect a dog that size from predatory animals such as hawks. Back to my sister's poodle. He thinks he's a lot bigger than he is. Last summer my sister took him out to go and there was a full grown moose on their lawn. Well, the dog tried to take off and eliminate the moose. Fortunately, he was on a leash. _________________________________________ Chris
