New dog!

Recommended Posts

My friend has a Papillon named 'Tula'. She's such a spoiled baby!

She's freakishly big for a Papillon, though...I'd guess she's time and a half as big as that lil' guy you posted!

Tula isn't yappy either...and my friend just adores her. Good luck! :)

Some paps are yappy, others aren't. His breeder says he isn't and will only bark if he hears something he thinks you need to know about rather than just barking at everything.

My blue heeler does that. Only she thinks i need to know about the wind blowing and everything else she hears:D:D:D

Congrats on your pap, and for being responsible for not getting a big dog when you don't have the room, good for you.:)

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

Being yappy was something I was very concerned about, and the breeder explained that he's pretty good at learning what normal noises are (people walking up the stairs, neighbor making noise, etc) and what are not normal noises (glass breaking, someone knocking, etc) and will differentiate. =)

I figured that. Mine NEVER barks in the house, just outside in the yard when she hears something that she can't see on the other side of the privacy fence. It just seems like she barks at everything.:D

I like him, very cute? What are you calling him in the meantime?

My sister has a toy poodle (or a miniature), I never remember. Anyway, he also weighs 6lbs 8ozs. I'm sure you know this but keep in mind you need to protect a dog that size from predatory animals such as hawks. Back to my sister's poodle. He thinks he's a lot bigger than he is. Last summer my sister took him out to go and there was a full grown moose on their lawn. Well, the dog tried to take off and eliminate the moose.:D Fortunately, he was on a leash.
