littleskycrab 0 #1 January 26, 2008 Anyone here ever taken it? I have just gotten home from day 1 (13 freaking hours!!) And have 2 1/2 more days to go. To be honest, I am getting something from it, however I'm frustrated a hell! When they finally released us tonight, at 10:30, they gave us HOMEWORK!!!! To be turned in in the morning... they told us to expect it to take 1 1/2 - 2 hours to complete.... WTF folks! I have to be back there at 8:30 in the morning... I would love to know when I'm supposed to have time to do this crap! GRRRRR!!! This is so frustrating! I'm exhausted and brain fried after today. Sorry, ya'll, just needed to vent a little. Self help and improvement can sometimes be a real pain in the ass, however the payoff is usually worth the effort. I'm just trying to keep an open mind and not be my usual skeptical, stubborn self... but I am very frustrated... with myself... damnit.Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you."

littleskycrab 0 #3 January 26, 2008 The Landmark Forum is very difficult to explain. Here is their website http://www.landmarkeducation.com. Everyone that I know (that has attended a Landmark Forum) has said to stick with it, the 1st day is a bitch but the results are supposed to be truly worth the effort. This is from their website: The Landmark Forum is specifically designed to bring about positive and permanent shifts in the quality of your life. These shifts are the direct cause for a new and unique kind of freedom and power. The freedom to be absolutely at ease no matter where you are, who you're with, or what the circumstance - the power to be in action effectively in those areas that are important to you. In independent research, Landmark graduates report major positive results in the following areas: • The quality of their relationships. • The confidence with which they conduct their lives. • The level of their personal productivity. • The experience of the difference they make. • The degree to which they enjoy their lives. Participants overwhelmingly report that their participation in The Landmark Forum yields not mere insights or improvements, but provides lasting results that expand and unfold over time. This is something my Dad asked me to do with him. It means alot to him and he means alot to me. With all that is transpiring in my life, I figure it can't hurt.Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leaves you speechless, remain that way.
