Deaf friend of mine took his all-deaf family to the beach and stayed in a motel. Not the fancy kind, just a two story motel with doors on the outside. Well, he'd gone to a bar and had a bit too much to drink, then couldn't find his motel room key. To make it worse, he forgot the room number. So... you guessed it - HOOOOONK HOOOOOONK HOOOOONK!! The one room that didn't have the lights come on and door open, was his family's room. It happened back in the early 80s.
