freethefly 6 #85 February 4, 2008 I take an actual photo, remove the color and then create a color transparncy and layer it atop of the colorless layer. The plane is from a photo I took of Mike Mullins Super Kingair during a headdown jump some years ago. I did some work on it to give it a cartoon appearance. The same with the jumper. The ground is from a photo from a jump last weekend here in Mt. Vernon at Freefall Express. The clouds are from brushes that I created from photos of clouds that I spent a day shooting. I do everything in layers which makes it easy to postion pieces of the composition. I use Photoshop CS2 and a good number of plugins to create the effects. I do, however print from Photoshop6. Color profile is Colormatch RGB. The RIP profile outputs to NTSC1953. The print medium is based on an Epson 2200 with a RIP that allows white ink usage. The inks are textile inks specially made for direct to garment inkjet printing."...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black."
