pop 0 #1 February 5, 2008 Colgate-Palmolive and Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation have teamed up this year to help children with Sickle Cell Disease and their families cope with the pain, fear and isolation of this terrible disease. By providing FUN CENTERS in hospitals, these children can forget about their illnesses for a moment and remember how to have fun. We asked you to “Show the Love” by voting for a hospital to receive a Fun Center. The outpouring of support has been wonderful, and Colgate-Palmolive is awarding all nine participating hospitals a Fun Center! And now you can make an even bigger difference. Voting remains open through February 29, and the hospital that receives the most support will receive an additional Fun Center! VOTE FOR HOUSTON! http://www.colgate.com/app/Colgate/US/Corp/CommunityPrograms/show-the-love/vote.cvsp7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer

I'll not be voting sorry POPYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing? Jewels 0 #4 February 5, 2008 Hmm. I don't see it as a substitute for other charitable work. I just think it sounds like a chance to have a say. All of the hospitals have already "won," anyway. Maybe I misunderstood your reasoning?TPM Sister #

Squeak 17 #6 February 5, 2008 i disagree with having a popularity contest to determine who recieves the charityYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
Jewels 0 #7 February 6, 2008 I haven't gone back to re-read it, but I thought it said that all nine (?) hospitals were getting play areas; it's just an "extra" play area that is up for grabs. You don't have to agree with it, obviously, and maybe I didn't read it correctly the first time through. I don't have a problem with that kind of voting where everyone wins, though.TPM Sister #
