Squeak 17 #3 February 6, 2008 Growing up here in Australia, Soccer was predominantly played by European immgrants, so it was affectionately known as WOGBALL ( a wog was a euro migrant)You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! iamsam 0 #7 February 6, 2008 Quote "Who's up for a kick about?" Jumpers for goalposts and if not enough for two teams you'd play headers & volleys, 3 and in (all outfield players V the goalie, you can only score with a header or a volley, score 3 and you're in goal- obviously innit). Then if you lost the ball you'd play british bulldog but what do I know
Andy_Copland 0 #8 February 6, 2008 headers & volleys is without a doubt my favourite game, mix that up with if you miss the goal you are the keeper. If they score 10 past you its pants down and everyone gets a free shot at your arse. Fuck can some people kick a ball. Hardest shot you can hit from 6ft at raw skin in the cold. 1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue. Reminds me of a movie (rough quote, not verbatim) -- "This team's goin places mate, and we can't guarantee ya a spot on the team anymore" "Goin places? It's just a cackaboot, a focken CACKABOOT!!" Can ya name that movie? Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up. See that does not make any sense, it's not the SCORE that makes a game exciting it's the "to and fro" of teams TRYING to score in any sport it's the same deal.
