burnout 0 #1 March 28, 2006 I just bought a new micron and the rig fits so tight on my shoulders it leaves red marks after only a few minutes. Relative workshop wants to add 2'' to the laterals instead of extending the main webbing. I dont agree with this but Im not an expert. I could use a second opinion before I let them do this. packing_jarrett 0 #2 March 28, 2006 What Jump shack did with my rig was just move the laterals down wich shortens the legstraps so the put new leg pads on. Wouldn't extending the laterals just move the rig off the back. But I'm no expert eitherNa' Cho' Cheese

johnny1488 1 #4 March 28, 2006 Double and triple check the original measurements. Find out why the rig does not fit. Have someone at a reputable gear store measure you. I say this because I have seen manufacturers try to lengthen the laterals when the correct action was to lengthen the yoke (make a new rig). Before anything is started find out what the rig should be first. If it should be a larger yoke size and the fault is with the manufacturer, demand a new rig. If the fault is with the person you ordered it from, then you haqe to work it out with them. This is not directed at RWS. Johnny --"This ain't no book club, we're all gonna die!" riggerrob 643 #5 March 28, 2006 I can only give you a second opinion if I see you wearing the ill-fitting rig.
