marcandalysse 0 #2 February 9, 2008 Norm is often at ZHills skydiving but I haven't seen him lately. He does everything from 4way and small groups to larger POPs events. Max stopped skydiving last summer. He always packed his own gear and those 90 degree summer days finally were too much for him....after many decades of skydiving. Both are inspirations to me! By the way, if you know Dr Steve G....he will celebrate 50 years skydiving next month at the Easter Boogie. Come join us at ZHills! marc "The reason angels can fly is that they take themselves so lightly." --GK Chesterton
Broke 0 #3 February 9, 2008 I am not sure If I ever met Dr. Steve G. Norm is an inspiration to me because he does more jumps in a day than some of the younger people. Norm isn't letting age slow him down at all. I always liked talking with Max. He had some really good stories. I met him my first time in Z-Hills, and he was healing up from a surgery I think. I ran out of money, so I just chilled with the old skydivers listening to their stories. It is sad that Max has stopped jumping, but I totally understand why. Getting old sucks. If I could bottle youth I would send him some. I remember the second time I was in Z-Hills he was jumping. That is when I finished my A liscence then.Divot your source for all things Hillbilly.
