woodpecker 0 #1 March 26, 2006 1 Blue pilot + 1 week in eloy = 1 dirty canopy Actually, its just dirty on the top skin. Can I clean it and how....with what and still have a canopy left.SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on? mattjw916 2 #4 March 26, 2006 Sorry, if your canopy-flight caused you to "soil" yourself, you might want to seek the assistance of professionals. NSCR-2376, SCR-15080
bob.dino 1 #5 March 26, 2006 QuoteJump it... the dirt will come off by itself... Didn't work for my Spectre. 350 jumps in Australia: fine. 16 jumps at Perris and the white cells were never again to be anything other than a sort of dirty brown.
GravityGirl 0 #6 March 27, 2006 Ya'll ain't seen nothin' yet! Last summer, we had a brush fire in our landing area. The entire thing was charred. White is silver. End of story. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

THe last DZ I called home built a swoop lane over where the fire pit used to be. The ash never comes out. Cheers, Travis
ZigZagMarquis 9 #8 March 27, 2006 WP, How "dirty" is it? If its what I imagine... i.e. A week of someone jumping in the desert that's not used to the desert... no offense... its probably not a big deal. Can you post a picture? QuoteYa'll ain't seen nothin' yet! Last summer, we had a brush fire in our landing area. The entire thing was charred. White is silver. End of story. Yeah, I always wonder why people order "white" as part of their canopy color if they jump in the desert... saw a guy custom order a white stilletto once wth a custom U.S. flag on the bottom skin... in 6 months jumping it in the desert, it was no longer the Red, White and Blue... it was the Red, TAN and Blue...
