What is really interesting about closed door meetings and the "open meeting act" is that the Senate is immune from any of the laws regarding it. I only know this, because I am a member of a couple of groups that are governed by it. We have to announce what the meeting is about ( property acquisition, or disposition, or personell,) when it is going to be held ( a posted date at least 3 days in the future )and we have to keep records that will be disclosed at some specific date in the future. All organizations that use, or spend tax funds are required to keep this. The Senate is not bound by the same laws.
