Why aren't you jumping?

As for me I am working OT so I can be less broke. I had a financhially rough couple of months. If I can tread water a little longer I may be able to live a lot better in a month or so

B/c I'm financially and physically unable to afford it right now or possibly ever again.I'm a broke college student and have 2 bad knees.I havent jumped in almost 4yrs

Once i graduate college and have a good job, i'd be happy to buy you a tandem jump....would that be ok for your knees?

aww Sunny,I love you! A tandem would probably not be as bad as a student jump b/c lets face it I'm not good at landing with only 14 jumps lol.But I'm on a diet right now to help me lose weight and get back in shape so that maybe that will take some stress off of my knees too (so I wont have to have surgery to replace them...which is what will happen at the rate I'm going). So far I've lost 16pounds.:)

Because I discovered last year that AFF is rather expensive. I want to be able to make a commitment to finishing the course, including the possibility of repeating jumps, before getting back in the air. Right now I owe the IRS back taxes for 2006 and I want to get those squared away before they get too nasty. I expect to have that cleared up about the time the rainy season ends here in CA--plus it looks like I won't owe anything for 2007.

Plus the rain here was absolutely relentless in January although I must say we have blue skies today!

Bottom line is I expect to be back in the air, and ready to make a serious commitment to this sport for 2008, some time in March.

It's snowing, I'm at work, and I'm recovering from surgery.

That doesn't sound right. [:/]

I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

Surgery was 3 weeks ago. Recovering nicely. Hope to be able to jump in a few more weeks. That is if it ever quits snowing. And work is just a nessecary evil to be able to afford the things that we want to do. I don't have a choice. I still have to pay the bills and afford jump tickets.;)

I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

I've been working since 9am Friday.

I knew today would be work, but I thought I'd be allowed to have dinner and sleep. This will probably kill any thoughts of driving out tomorrow.
