ACMESkydiver 0 #4 February 5, 2008 I don't care for those at all. I like stuff from our local 'Columbia Winery'. I'm not much of a wine drinker though so I wouldn't know...~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
Hausse 0 #5 February 5, 2008 Most Yellow Tails are too fruity for me. I like the French and Italians wines usually more.

labrys 0 #7 February 5, 2008 If I could get Crane Lake in a 5 liter box I'd be in heaven... what would that cost? About $6.99? Owned by Remi #?
drdive 0 #8 February 5, 2008 Last time we got drunk on "Yellow Tail" on a boys scuba trip, we were all swearing about getting fucked by the "Chinese Whore" as we were nursing our hangover the next morningDoc "We saved your gear. Now you can sell it when you get out of the hospital and upsize!!" "K-Dub" "
novacaine 0 #9 February 5, 2008 I myself enjoy Artazuri, that is when it is in stock. Its a Spanish Wine with grenache grapes.
HeatherB 0 #10 February 5, 2008 I think my worst hangover headaches have been from Yellow Tail! I'm more of a rum & coke or cranberry & vodka girl. Margaritas are yummy too. :)
Hausse 0 #11 February 5, 2008 To me Shiraz is one of the worst getting drunk grapes. My stomach gets really upset while drinking and it get's even worse the next day...
sartre 0 #12 February 5, 2008 So far, I've tried two or three Francis Coppola reds...all very good. My problem is I wind up dumping out most of the bottle time and time again, cause I don't drink like I used to and the wine goes bad. I even use the vacuum seal thing, but it only improves the wine's life by a few days.
AggieDave 6 #13 February 5, 2008 That is one of our favorite wines. Its pretty inexpensive and its very tasty. Their Pinot Noir is pretty good too.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
kirrz 0 #14 February 5, 2008 the yellow tail white wines are really good but i just discovered another awesome aussie wine which is now my new favorite - the winery is long flat destinations and it is the pinot noir...
moto89 0 #15 February 5, 2008 I like the Yellow Tail shiraz quite a bit, especially for what it costs. I'm a big fan of Firestone and Sunstone (both Ynez County, CA wines) outright though.Less talking, more flying.
Conundrum 1 #16 February 5, 2008 Shiraz is my favorite wine, but Yellow Tail is ok. For a cheap wine, I prefer Black Swan or Origin.
SkyDekker 1,465 #17 February 5, 2008 When it comes to Shiraz, I'll take the Rosemount over the Yellow Tail any day. (Personally I like Angus The Bull or Pey de la Tour better as relatively cheap wines)

Remster 30 #19 February 5, 2008 Quote When it comes to Shiraz, I'll take the Rosemount over the Yellow Tail any day. Me too. an, not to piss off my canadian friend , but we pay about $6 here for the Rosemount. Its a great everyday wine. Its a bit too bold for more delicate meals, but for day to day drinking, or a glass by itself, it does the job nicely!Remster

DJL 235 #21 February 5, 2008 Yellowtail = Big Headache. It's a cheap fruitpunch wine with lots of sugar. I drank enough of it to never want to drink it again."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
SkyDekker 1,465 #22 February 6, 2008 QuoteMe too. an, not to piss off my canadian friend , but we pay about $6 here for the Rosemount. Bastard!!!!!! I think it is around $18 here, which would still fall in the cheaper wines. (My drink of choice lately has been a rice vodka that is amazing to drink. If you ever get a chance to pick up a bottle og Kissui Vodka from Japan, buy it, you'll love it. The fucking idiots at the LCBO have decided to stop selling it, so I am stockpiling lol)

Why don't you put what's left over in an ice cube tray and freeze it for use in sauces, gravies, etc. Then you're not wasting it (well, not COMPLETELY wasting it).'Shell
