Supply and Demand. Each dealership is only getting a few of these cars this year. They are only making 5,000 of them. Dealers are selling them for what people will pay. I am going to the dealer later today to negotiate on this. I want the car but yes, $15K over MSRP is too high. I already offered $5K over and they said lets talk.
The vipers were getting similar premiums when they first came out.

Now the biggest question is The Hemi Orange or the Black.

Black.

next year they are planning to make 30K of them but some will have a V6.:S

Why?

Same reason Mustangs and Camaros were available with 6 cylinders back in the late 60's. They called 'em "secretary" models - all the exterior sexy of a muscle car without the higher insurance rates of the ones with the bigger engines.

My "secretary" model '68 Camaro with the 250 straight six and the front bench seat was rarer than a '68 Camaro RS/SS 396. Gawd I wish I still had that car...

Same thing happened when the Datsun 240Z came out, and it happened again when the Mazda Miata came out.
Wait a year and pay a reasonable price. No need to be a sucker.

MSRP is $40K but with limited production and dealer premiums, Expect to pay between $50K and $60K if you want one this year.

You'll get it for dealer price after you spooge all in it during the test drive... :P

This isn’t about Reason!! It is about LOVE.
I am not sure I can survive a Full year with being with my True Love. She needs me, I need her.

Are not we all suckers for Love at some point in out lives?
Buy a 1/20 scale diecast model. Then you can sit at the table, push it around and make motor sounds; BRRRMM, BRRRMM!! :D

What do you think I have been doing all morning?? My programming staff has already threatened to give me a Challenger Suppository if I rolled my Toy car across their design board one more time.[:/]

I prefer this one. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

That car is an order of magnitude better looking than the Challenger!

For me the biggest problem with the Challenger is that it doesn't even look as good as the original.

Could you not go straight to Dodge?

If you weren't a pd dealer, could you go straight to pd and buy a velocity?? Same thing here.

Vanishing point Trivia.. Do you know what car they actually used in last scene?

What engine was in Kawalskis Car?

Hey Kowalski, you out there? :|

440 six-pack 390 hp.
The crashed car was a 1968 Camaro.
