eeneR 3 #1 February 19, 2008 Ok, someone out here in dz.com land might be able to help me. I am looking for a headphone converter, two 3.5mm mic and headphone jacks --> single 3.5mm jack. The converter should have female connectors for the two 3.5mm converting it to a single male 3.5mm jack. The headsets we were recommended ended up being PC headsets. I cannot seem to find anything online for this connector. I have found the reverse connector, but not this way. eeneR 3 #3 February 19, 2008 QuoteHave you hit your local Radio Shack? I am not allowed to physically go in there while on the clock. They will not pay me, nor send me on company time to go look. I would love to, but I am not doing it for free when I am a consultant. She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

I do not need to split a headphone/speaker connection, I need to combine Mic and Headphone... eeneR 3 #10 February 19, 2008 QuoteSomething like this? Nope, again that is a y splitter, designed to give you two headphone outputs. I need to take a headphone output and a mic output and combine them into one.She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
bigway 4 #11 February 19, 2008 You cant get it into a single 3.5mm plug. Sure they make such a thing but it will render the microphone useless. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
eeneR 3 #12 February 19, 2008 Quote You cant get it into a single 3.5mm plug. Sure they make such a thing but it will render the microphone useless. There are adapters out there that will COMBINE the mic and headset. This is going into a phone designed for single 3.5mm connection, I have seen these converters in the past but for the life of me cannot find one now. This is being used in another datacenter, the guy cannot for the life of him remember where he got the thing. There are wiring diagrams out there to do this, but I am not going to go down that route. She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
