lawrocket 3 #1 February 20, 2008 There is a total lunar eclipse scheduled to occur tomorrow night. I really want my son to see it. He's getting to the age where this stuff is interesting. A couple of nights ago, I took him outside to see the space shuttle and ISS overhead at night. He thought it was a star until I pointed out how quickly it was moving. "A shooting star?" "No, booger, it's a rocket." He points to the moon and stars. And his favorites are "Contrails." I am hoping that the sky will clear for him to see this eclipse tomorrow night. I think it'll be neat for him. And for me. His amazement just picks up my own. And to share things like that - it's just so damned amazing. My wife is hotter than your wife. We used to be able to jump out the plane when the shuttle launched and flyover the runway after it landed. Even more awesome. Alas. 9/11 stopped all that.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.
