Yes, sir, Gold is a metal! You get a smiley face on your homework.

The etymology of "medal" and "metal" are the same - from Latin.

what's you point, languauge is a dynamic process evolving all the time medal and metal have 2 distinct meansings now, they are not interchangeable
Twardy made and error he might be old but he does not type "old latin"

Nope, he chisels it. Just like he did when it first came out.

There was a chippendale's show in town and he had a couple hundred ones to stuff in the men's g-strings....

Oh, really?

met·al
1. any of a class of elementary substances, as gold, silver, or copper, all of which are crystalline when solid and many of which are characterized by opacity, ductility, conductivity, and a unique luster when freshly fractured.

[Origin: 1250–1300; ME (
med·al
1. a flat piece of metal, often a disk but sometimes a cross, star, or other form, usually bearing an inscription or design, issued to commemorate a person, action, or event, or given as a reward for bravery, merit, or the like: a gold medal for the best swimmer.

[Origin: 1580–90; earlier medaille
:P

Thanks for backing me up, Squeak.

Language aside, they are from 2 distinctly different origins in 2 different time periods.

(Sorry the non-standard characters didn't translate. I have no idea how to type them on a Standard English keyboard, so copy and paste will have to do.

Thankyouverymuch.

Morgan is a certified badass RW chick. Nevermind that she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and is the most intelligent woman I've ever met as well. Well, intelligent to a point, she did marry me.:D

It was a scrambles event and they ended up having to have a sunset load jump off because they were tied with the other team. As with scrambles events the jump numbers and skill levels were all over the place on each team. I think their total for the event was 26 points. Sure its not Airspeed, but for a scrambles meet its not bad.
