Oh, really? met·al 1. any of a class of elementary substances, as gold, silver, or copper, all of which are crystalline when solid and many of which are characterized by opacity, ductility, conductivity, and a unique luster when freshly fractured. [Origin: 1250–1300; ME (med·al 1. a flat piece of metal, often a disk but sometimes a cross, star, or other form, usually bearing an inscription or design, issued to commemorate a person, action, or event, or given as a reward for bravery, merit, or the like: a gold medal for the best swimmer. [Origin: 1580–90; earlier medaille Thanks for backing me up, Squeak. Language aside, they are from 2 distinctly different origins in 2 different time periods. AggieDave 6 #14 February 25, 2008 Morgan is a certified badass RW chick. Nevermind that she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and is the most intelligent woman I've ever met as well. Well, intelligent to a point, she did marry me.It was a scrambles event and they ended up having to have a sunset load jump off because they were tied with the other team. As with scrambles events the jump numbers and skill levels were all over the place on each team. I think their total for the event was 26 points. Sure its not Airspeed, but for a scrambles meet its not bad. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
