Dumpster 0 #1 February 27, 2008 Just how does it get in Cabo or Ixtapa in late July? Would one prefer not to vacation there that time of year? thanks! Easy Does It
Andrewwhyte 1 #2 February 27, 2008 I think Cabo is in the low 40s that tie of year. A bit of a sea breeze helps, but not much.
SkyDekker 1,465 #3 February 27, 2008 I was at Desire Resort & Spa in Cabo last August and can tell you it gets pretty hot and humid, doesn't cool down much at night either. Temperatures around the high 90's during the day, felt like high 80's during the night....and pretty muggy... But...what a great time!!!!
Gene03 0 #4 February 27, 2008 Howdy Lenny, Would this be a proposal vacation or a honeymoon? “The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him. Dumpster 0 #8 February 27, 2008 How was your stay at Desie? Were you able to swim in the ocean? I heard the water has crazy undertows and stuff. Easy Does It
SkyDekker 1,465 #9 February 28, 2008 Desire was outstanding, though make sure you understand the resort before you book They actively discourage swimming in the ocean along that stretch of the beach. There are indeed some very strong undertows that seem to kill a couple of people every year. We did go in the ocean to play with the waves, but never deeper than our knees. If ocean or beach is very important then Desire Cabo shouldn't be on your list. We are off to Desire Cancun on Monday, where apparently the beach and ocean are much better.
