highspeeddirt 0 #76 February 28, 2008 I had an 88 astro that did something similar. turns out the 2 inch piece of rubber hose connecting the electric fuel pumpto the outlet in the fuel tank had deteriorated into mush andlittle particles of it were clogging the fuel pump strainer.
