tilley13k 0 #2 March 4, 2008 I have a wireless adapter for my PC. The one you bought should come with some software that will allow you to view and choose available wireless networks. Instead of xp controlling the wireless network connection, the software package will be in control of the wireless network.
Icon134 0 #3 March 4, 2008 XP has capabilities built in to control wireless adapters but you're probably better off using any software that comes with the adapter to control your wifi settings. Vista on the other hand appears to have better wifi support built in. (at least from what I've seen) btw: Vista also appears to be able to handle bluetooth better then XP does.Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
