Mile High Club

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine wanted to get some pictures of Bald Eagles this last weekend so we cruised around following the rivers. The eagles flock to our rivers in the winter to feast on the dying salmon after they have laid their eggs in the streambeds.

Along the rivers and streams are many large old maple and cottonwoods and its easy to spot the Eagles perched in the branches over the river watching for a dead or dying salmon or steelhead.

I noticed something out of the ordinary in the high branches of one tree and took this picture.

You gotta give them points for where and when they were doing this.. kinda their version of mile high club.
