Broke 0 #1 February 22, 2008 I am looking at getting a new altimiter from the guys at free fall accessories. They are really nice and have a warrenty and such and only cost a little more than an alti3. So I was thinking what to do with my old altimeter. I could sell it, and I am sure it would sell pretty quickly, but I know what it is like to be a very broke new skydiver. I am not rick, but I have a nice paycheck so I figure I'd splurge. Then I figure I'll donate my old alti to some broke low time jumper. I figure I'll send it to be calibrated just so that it is in tip top condition for whomeve is lucky enough to recieve this alti from me. TrophyHusband 0 #14 February 22, 2008 grab someone just off student status and jump with them. let them borrow your extra alti instead of using the dz's. when he or she tries to give it back after the jump, tell him thank you for the skydive and to keep it. also tell him to remember this when he has a few hundred jumps and his paycheck has increased.
