When some slick willie lawyer/judge uses an obscure outdated law to legally steal someone elses property then justice is mot being served. At one time the Jim Crow laws made it illegal for blacks to vote but that didn't make it right and just. Some laws are just plain fucked up and granting a couple the legal right to steal a neighbors property is one of them. If that couple really wants the portion of that land, they should buy it from the Kirlins, if the Kirlins decide to pursue that route. They should never have encroached on that property in the first place however. I hope the Kirlins win their appeal. It really sucks that they have had to spend a few hundred grand in legal fees on this.
