bigway 4 #1 March 10, 2008 Has anyone done this yet to get a free iphone? I just watched a BBC report on it and how real it actually is and is not a scam. What you do is get 5 friends to sign up and register for 2 week trials from different companies that you can then cancel before having to pay any money. Once you have had 5 friends sign up you will recieve your gift. If you want a free flat screen tv you need 8 friends to sign up. So has anyone done this? Does anyone want to do this? .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
Nightingale 0 #2 March 10, 2008 The trials sometimes cost money and are often difficult to unsubscribe from, since they all take your credit card in advance. It's hard to find eight people willing to hand out their credit card on the internet for a trial they don't really want. Honestly, you're better off just buying the iPod. bigway 4 #3 March 10, 2008 I would be better off buying a $600 phone rather than getting a free one? That makes no sense to me. I have spent the last hour researching this whole scheme and it sounds very legit. Anyway, i will post what happens in a few weeks. 12 of us just signed upw ith 10 of the refferals being credited to myself. We dotted all the i's and crossed all t's and it has not cost a cent and we signed up for free trials with a very reputable company being blockbuster for a 2 week trial that we can cancel at anytime before any money is charged. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . PhreeZone 20 #7 March 10, 2008 Yes, this has been around for years and there is at least 1 person on these boards that got a free PSP off those offers. The issue is that for some of the "offers" you sign up for its hard to cancel or there are stipulations for them. I got burned on one and had to pay like $10 in fees since I signed up and went to cancel only to find you could only cancel in this really small window of like 2 days other wise you accepted their offer and you got billed for a month of use. Read the fine print since there are catches to it that you might not see at a general glance. This thread will be deleted the moment anyone tries to post their "referal" link.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
bigway 4 #8 March 10, 2008 IM not wanting anyone to post referal links here. I post this in this forum cause i trust posters in this forum so i ask if anyone does post their refferal link that you simply edit their post instead of deleting a thread. I have posted this thread so that i can get a wider opinion from forum members that i trust. I think deleting this thread because someone posts a referal link would be unfair. Editing their post would be much more appreciated. I think the bnest one to sign up for in the uk would be the post office crtedit card as this has a 0% on transfer balances and a low interest rate so really it does not cost a cent. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . You said iPod, not iPhone. iPods can be acquired for a lot cheaper than $600. Getting 8 people to sign up for offers is really hard. I tried to do it a few years ago, and after working at it for two or three months and costing myself about $40 because of fine print, I just gave up and bought the thing. It's just not worth the frustration.
Lindercles 0 #10 March 10, 2008 Convincing 5 friends to sign up for something and give away their credit information just so I can receive an item at no monetary cost doesn't fit into my personal concept of "free."
