skydiver88 0 #1 March 12, 2008 so i have noticed a lot of hostility towards base jumping from skydivers. it totally makes sense to me that people dont approve but i have heard some mean shit from people. im wondering how many people have base jumped? and also how many people highly look down upon it or just think its whatever? also how many of you would suggest it? "thats crazy man, just fuckin crazy" they jump from lower than I initiate my 270 to swoop, one parachute...fuck that... but I havent ever heard any who appeared to look down on it. My interest in base came to an abrupt end when I did ground crew and one of the jumpers had a mal and hit the river - he got very lucky, broken ankle and tailbone. My interest in the sport is gone, but I wouldnt ever talk shit about anyone doing it or the sport itself... I would never suggest it, but if someone made thier interest known, I would point them in the right direction to get more info and training. even though they ARE some craaaazyyyy peopleRoy They say I suffer from insanity....
