Squeak 17 #26 March 16, 2008 Quote Sorry, one last thing... hopefully. I can not seem to find any reviews on this set. Is it called something different in the states? Here in australia it is called the KDL46x3100 I would really like to read a good reiview about it. I would liek to know about the ghosting/clouding issues. Ya didn't look very hardhttp://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=KDL46&meta=You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing? DSE 5 #27 March 16, 2008 I sure hope you bought it from the DSE PowerhouseI'd imagine if you have this display connected via composite only, it would look like shit. We don't have that same model here in the states, I don't know the US model. One thing to be also clear on...I didn't talk you up to the Sony. I'm just a fan of the Samsung-built OEM panels that the Bravia happens to have, and I happen to own 6 Bravias for both business and home use. Good stuff, but I'm pretty careful to not endorse any one brand of display. Camcorders, software, and lighting...yes. Displays? No. Anyway, get HDMI, or at the least high quality component, you should see a very sexy picture. [edit] If it's the model I think it is, be sure you calibrate it. Pirates of the Caribbean has calibration software built in, if you have that DVD.
bigway 4 #28 March 16, 2008 This is the american model. Squeak seemed to find it. I keep searching the australian name. The playstatipn 3 is hooked up via RGB component leads and it still ghosts. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

bigway 4 #30 March 16, 2008 HOLY ShiiiiiTTT!!!! PS3 gran turismo HD is SICK!!!!! Never seen it look so good and i think it is only playing at 720p with the rgb cables. I cant wait till my HDMI cables get here. I really hope they get rid of the ghosting on the writing. Plugged my laptop in and straight away was blown away. Wow... I am so glad i did not go cheap. The finance card is not but i sure am. Getting hooked on all this home entertainment could really break a couple up! .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
PhreeZone 20 #31 March 16, 2008 HDMI cables are cheap online if you can order them from places like Monoprice.com. There is no difference in quality between any of the brands so might as well go cheap.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
