cocheese 0 #1 March 8, 2008 After having my 9 lives on street bikes years ago, i told myself no more motorcycles, only skydiving...until i reach age 55 or something and maybe buy the best BMW on the market. Well i turned 41 last week and bought this. The "go anywhere" bike. Anyone else have a T-Dub? (TW200) I heard some guy drove one of these to the North pole. archi77 0 #5 March 8, 2008 there's a thread titled "Travis is up to it again" or something like that...but YOU should watch the video in it. 1969912 0 #7 March 8, 2008 I bought a TW-200 new in '96 when I lived in Ocean Shores, WA. The beach is/was legally considered a state highway, and I did 30 mile beach rides all the time, and that's pretty much the only reason I bought it.. The TW took forever to warm up and sucked at speeds above 45 MPH. Fun for ripping around the neighborhood, but NFG for highways. cocheese 0 #8 March 8, 2008 Cool. That's why i bought it as well. No more highways, 120mph, out running cops, and competing with everyone on their cell phone.

Zee 0 #10 March 9, 2008 Those things are sweet! I rode one of those during a course I took a while back. It was a freakin' blast to ride. I just picked up a new set of wheels myself. It's no T-Dub...but it'll do. Bike 1 Bike 2 Bike 3 Action©Sports

Zee 0 #14 March 9, 2008 Quote YOU SUCK SO BADVery cool but what's it cost to service those there, it's a small fortune here. Not too bad, really. About $700 to have the valves adjusted every 7500 miles. I can do that myself on an inline 4, but I've never messed with Desmodromic valves so I guess I'll leave it up to the dealer....at least until the warranty expires Quote That's awesome, but how do you go the speed limit with one of those? Short answer.....you don't he he Here's a little sound clip Leo Vince Action©Sports

Zee 0 #19 March 10, 2008 Quote Umm, that sound clip gave me a boner. Cool. Does that mean you forgive me for the shameless thread jack? I wasn't kidding about the T-Dub either. I had so much fun on that thing - sand dunes, curbs, asphalt, mud, that thing will go all over the place. I was looking at getting one but I just don't have any more room in the garage. Quote it's very hot, but how does that add $$$$ to a mechanical service Eh, it's not that bad. It costs about the same to adjust the valves on my Honda. It just has to be done twice as often he he..... Action©Sports
