I have never met a jackass

Recommended Posts

From Texas. I was having dinner tonight (alone in a strange town-again) and some guys up from San Antonio up here moving some heavy equipment started a conversation and I ended up sitting with them swapping lies for over 2 hours. I've met some jackasses in TX, but they were all transplants. People from TX have been universally cool-so far

I concur! I moved to Southeast Texas about a year and a half ago. My fairly small town leaves a little (ok, a lot) to be desired, but the one thing I certainly have no complaint about is the quality of the good folks down here.

My only people related concern is that the distribution of mid-20 to mid-30 year old single women could be a bit (ok, a lot) better. :)

Funny, in Bryan/College Station the distribution of incredibly beautiful 20-30yr old women is literally 50% of the population. All in all its a great thing.

Seriously though, Texans are great. Except for Turtle. Unless you need a fire killed at 3am by a hail of gunfire.

That's another thing that has taken some getting used to in Texas. I could probably call any of 5 or 6 friends to come over and do that very same thing. B|

I sure have.

Although, I haven't actually met the jackass in person, only online. Oh, and via phone. The jackass was REALLY apparent then.

Perhaps the jackass is a transplant.

That must be it. :|

Funny, the only jackasses I've met online were those that blindly support skyride. :D
