AirmanPerry 0 #1 February 28, 2006 I'm trying to get some ideas to protect my Neptune. I have an external mount on my helmet and my screen has cracked twice now. The "armor" Alti-2 sells doesn't look like it offers any protection for the screen. Any ideas? Maybe I'll have to breakdown and buy a new helmet with internal mounting. dmetz 0 #4 February 28, 2006 I don't know if it will help, but Gath makes a nice Dyter cover for external mounting. Its hard plastic that attaches to your helmet, I'm sure you could modify it as needed. You can find them at ParaGear, I think._________________________________________ "If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?" davelepka 4 #5 February 28, 2006 Cut a Neptune sized hole in the side of your helmet, and cover is with a thin piece of lexan or plexiglass. Now start keeping your Neptune inside, where it's safe.
