jtval 0 #1 March 24, 2008 I REALLY miss my music match jukebox.(music player) Yahoo bought them out and released a weakened version of it. I don't know what happened but the jukebox won't even work anymore. I wonder if there was some kind of self destruct type of file. I tried downloading it again. Even though it is no longer suported I was thirlled with the old jukebox. Does any one know where I can find a WORKING version of the program? I assume since they no longer support it and my yearly subcription was coming due they somehow killed it. I tried Winamp. Dont like it I tried iTunes. I fucking hate it. I tried a few others that I dont remember the names of. Didnt like em. Music match had its own way of searching and organizing the music and adding a current playlist that was spectacular. All the rest suck. ANy one else have a music match jukebox that still works? My photos My Videos

jtval 0 #6 March 24, 2008 QuoteEver try Media Monkey? well google answered my last question but the thing I love about music match is that I could list the artist in folders. When I wanted to look for a specific song by that artist I could scroll down to them and expand that folder. I can live without that option but does Media monkey have that ability? The option I can not live without it this. Is there an ongoing playlist? I.E. If I click on a song by one artist, let's say Alice in Chains--Goddam, that song starts playing. am I able to click on Pink floyd- Goodbye blues skies and have it play NEXT? can I contie to do this or do I have to create a whole new playlist each time? that option made Music match Specifically significant when editing tandems. I could just key up the songs and have them in a "playing now/next list."My photos My Videos
jtval 0 #7 March 24, 2008 Quote I love musicmatch. I have no idea what version i have, but if i lost it...well it would suck. DAMN YOU! Your version didnt die? J_Cook 0 #8 March 24, 2008 When Yahoo bought out MusicMatch Jukebox, they downgraded about 3 years worth of updates that made MMJB great. I've since switched over to Songbird, it's not quite as good as MusicMatch, but it's much better than the alternatives.

dunesurfer 0 #24 March 25, 2008 QuoteMadhatter, THANKS!! Dune Surfer, How the hell have you been? Thanks ,too. Been better, but have been much worse off ;). Hope Colorado is treating you well. It looks like all I have is ver 4.3, which may not work on win2k\xp and later ops. I forgot I still run MM on a relic computer.
madhatter 0 #25 March 26, 2008 OK, the files are finally there for you. Musicmatch 9 with a key generator: http://www.winesource.co.za/dizzycom/mmjukebox9.zip The 'patch' button on the generator doen't work for me, so I just copy the generated key & go to help-registration-enter key (in MM) & paste it. Musicmatch 10 (if you have a key for it. I don't know if the generator for 9 would work for this one..) http://www.winesource.co.za/dizzycom/mmjukebox10.zip Whatever you do DON'T install the Yahoo toolbar when prompted. Just to prevent nagware later on, you might want to go to your root folder-program files-musicmatch & delete the 'Upgrade' folder. I found a solution on the web to rename one certain file to stop the nagware, but I don't seem to have saved that. Hope this helps! Enjoy! A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
