leapdog 0 #2 February 16, 2006 Not sure what the trade standard is for riggers in the UK, but US FAA rated riggers go by the manufacturers instructions how to pack the skyhook is in the users manual under reserve packing instructions. Hope this helps. riggerrob 643 #3 February 17, 2006 Skyhook is easy to pack if you have a copy of the Skyhook supplement or the latest version of the Vector III/Micron/Sigma packing manual, all available on-line. Insist on your rigger having a copy of one of those manuals before he touches your Skyhook.

grosfion 0 #6 February 20, 2006 mine was packed by Chris Lynch in Headcorn and he had no problem. Does not seems to be such a big issue. It does not look complicated on the instruction and the colour-code helps. blues Marcus
TrickyDicky 0 #7 February 20, 2006 Advanced packers are expected to be up to date on any new kit and how to pack it. Their only hurting their own business if they dont know how to pack a type of rig. Afaik the advanced packing course clears you to pack any type of main/reserve (except tandems). UK Skydiver for all your UK skydiving needs.
