Twoply 0 #1 April 23, 2008 Has anyone done the hair plugs thing? Or a hair removal and reinstalled procedure? I dont even think about being bald or really even care, but if I could have a big, thick head of hair I'd take it! I wonder with all the shit out nowadays, is it becoming more refined? And believe me when I say, if it cost a $2000 to make me look like George Clooney again, I'd do it and wear the t-shirt.
BillyVance 35 #2 April 23, 2008 Meh, I'm not vain enough to want something like that if I started going bald. I'd probably just shave my head or go down to a crew cut if it got bad enough. Of course, I'd probably look ugly too. But better that than a comb-over. thirdworld19 0 #5 April 23, 2008 From a woman's point of view - don't do it. Go bald gracefully. So far, my hubby has all of his hair, but many times I ask him to shave it all off (actually, I shave it off) - very sexy. I had a co-worker who did the hair plug thing - not sexy. MikeJD 0 #6 April 23, 2008 I think men's main worry about baldness is its progression - not what they look like now, but what they'll look like next year, and the year after that. So I think the best 'cure' for baldness, for those bothered by it (not you, Twoply), is either to shave your head or cut your hair super short and then stop worrying about it. Low maintenance haircuts are seriously liberating too. No more queuing at the barber on the weekend when you could be jumping out of an aeroplane! DavidB 0 #7 April 24, 2008 I worked for a guy that did the hair plug thing. All I can say is: DON'T!!!!!! Even the new procedures where they use multiple strands in random patterns show unnaturally. When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. Superman32 0 #9 April 24, 2008 Finasteride, will stop your hair from falling, you may get some man-boobs and lose the sexual drive, but hell, it'll likely stop your hair from falling. Actually most people should not really have side effects it justs blocks a break down product of testosterone, which seems to be related to male pattern baldness. You can also try minoxidil Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

When I got alopecia really bad I just decided to shave my head, at first I had a mohawk, but then I shaved it all as the alopecia progressed. I miss the mohawk
