I lost 12 pounds on the stress and lack of appetite diet But I've been rowing 20-30 mins a day for 2 weeks straight and am getting my strength back. Making it a habit is definitely the way to go about it.

I tend to eat more when I'm stressed out, but I imagine that it is harder on people that don't eat. Quote But I've been rowing 20-30 mins a day for 2 weeks straight and am getting my strength back. MrFreefall383 0 #28 April 26, 2008 Well people, I'm back from USCG Recruit Training, just said good-bye to TRACEN Cape May this afternoon. As for the fitness elements, I had my ass handed to me. And you all know as I do that I was in very good shape when I went in. I guess the equalizer was the fact that the company basically got constant "incentive training" for the first 3-4 weeks, then started coming together enough to avoid such stupidity. Either way, everything hurts, and I'm using this weekend to decompress, but I'm happy as hell about how our company came together, and we accomplished more than any company in over a year on the regiment. Basic physical exercises for incentive training were the crunch, flutterkick, pushups, and squats. Then we had a swim element, a bunch of exercise bike sessions, and some weight lifting. And can't forget the running, we ran alot. Anyway, we were all in really good shape by the time we finished today, and I think I might have gained a little bit fo muscle all around. Worthwhile experience, very important to learn so much about myself and my shipmates, and a part of me even wants to go back to Cape May to become a Company Commander myself."If at first you don't succeed... well, so much for skydiving." - aviation cliche
