moodyskydiver 0 #1 April 28, 2008 I just got off the phone with a very nice family who have to give up their dog,Tucker, a beautiful 3yr old German Shepard. The only problem is I have to drive 2+hrs to College Station to get him.But hes registered and has a great pedigree (not that I really care about that kinda thing) and they're just trying to give him away to a good home, which I think we have. Its been forever since I've driven in CS.I hope I dont get lost. But I'm just excited that I'm getting a new dog! "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

moodyskydiver 0 #7 April 28, 2008 Quote that should put you in a good "mood" LOL! yeah it will. But ya know, I've been in a good mood for several weeks now even though I'm going through a divorce.I'm back in school, graduating in Dec. with my AA in Criminal Justice and then starting my BA at TX A&M Commerce in the spring(...or I might go through the Police Academy depending on how much I get in shape between now and then.)I've joined a gym, lost 5lbs in 1 week and things have just really fallen into place for me lately. So yeah, I'm in a damn good mood. Jewels 0 #13 April 29, 2008 Has he already been trained? I understand this breed has a lot of energy and needs to be kept well-trained and occupied. Dogs are GREAT! I'm sure you'll be good for each other. TPM Sister #
moodyskydiver 0 #14 April 29, 2008 He has been trained in the basic commands and leash training, but they said he needs a bit more work on the leash and thats about it.I'm not too worried about that though b/c we live on 80 acres and he and my mom's Boxer are going to have the run of the place. As long as we can train him not to chase the horses we're good.
