selbbub78 0 #1 May 1, 2008 Hey guys, I need help (with word doc tracking/editing)!!!! Basically like a lot of people, I always tried to turn it off, and just ignore the function, but my supervisor has asked me to mark up a document, editing it and tracking the changes. I have no idea what i'm doing. I know there's the button to click that says track changes, and i have that clicked, but when i type it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Is it supposed to show up as different color? Or how do you get the cross out writing to appear? Does anyone have any ideas???? squiffy 3 #5 May 1, 2008 If you have 'track changes' ticked then there should be an option to view 'final showing mark-up' this will display all the changes you have made, it is often set to 'final' which will only show the result of what you have changed not the changes themselves... hope that makes sense!!
