flyinghonu 0 #1 February 9, 2006 That's right ladies & gents - I won it on EBay baby!!!! I'm sure it won't be too hard to spot me in my new-to-me Pink Pather style FF suit. Try not to be too PINK with envy In all seriousness, can I get that damn black patch off the leg without screwing it up? Its an older () flitesuit. flyinghonu 0 #3 February 9, 2006 No hole, it's just that GIAGANTIC advertisement, I mean brand name patch that FliteSuit used to put on all their jumpsuits. I guess I need to know if Flitesuit glues that patch in the center bottom or if I can simply remove the VERY fine stitching around the border of the patch? GravityGirl 0 #6 February 9, 2006 They don't glue. You should be able to stitch pick it. Get a good sharp stitch picker and do one at at time. Resist the urge to pull or tear. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Yes, I could not resist the urge to pull when removing the stitching from a VERY bad pull-in job on a RW suit. Let's just say, it is not a mystery to anyone that I had to let that puppy back out "Excuse me while I kiss the sky..." - Jimi Hendrix
Liemberg 0 #9 February 9, 2006 Quotecan I get that damn black patch off the leg without screwing it up? No you cant That is the ORIGINAL FLITE SUIT LOGO! This makes out 95% of the immense value of the suit. It would be an act of barbarism if you removed it! skyfreek 1 #11 February 10, 2006 even if you did stitch pick it off, it as probably faded, so there will still be a different color patch there
CrazyL 0 #12 February 10, 2006 Hehehe removing patch may void the TSO. Poor flight suit logo. May it find a new home. Are you the Pink Panther Barbarian?

Are you the Pink Panther Barbarian? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Far worse than that, removing the label will not only void the TSO, it will result in a 200 +++ response debate about the finer points of the Federal Air Regulations. The debate will suck in Shlomo, Mel, MJO Sparky, Bill Booth, riggermick, etc. It will create this vast black hole that slowly circles the drain, sucking all skydiving energy down with it ......... Oh! Woe is us!
davelepka 4 #14 February 10, 2006 Thats the best jumpsuit you will ever own, unless you order another Flite Suit. Save the patch. After a few thousand jumps on that suit, you'll want to put it back on.

If it's the same as my older flitesuit, that patch is actually a pocket. I keep rubber bands and pullups in mine.
