NWFlyer 2 #26 April 29, 2008 Quote Yeah, I'm surprised how nice everyone is being to you. If you were a female posting this saga in the Women's Forum, you'd have been pounced on numerous times by now. Being a man is good sometimes..... I'd be happy to pounce if it'll make you feel better. But I thought cocheese's response was pretty perfect and kind of hit on the essence of the situation. After that, there's not much more that needs to be said. *golfclap* for cocheese. sartre 0 #27 April 29, 2008 Oh believe me, I'm not saying he SHOULD be pounced on, just that he WOULD have been had he been a female posting it in the women's forum. I've been there, done that, with being in love with someone who is NO GOOD for me. I, too, let him talk his way back in a couple of times. Good for Jason and I truly do wish him strength to stand by this decision, because she's going to try and push every button he has when she decides she wants him back. NWFlyer 2 #32 April 29, 2008 Quote I doubt if he'll be avail for long Actually, based only on what I've read (no pouncing, I promise) it might just be the best thing for Jason to be single for a while. I have observed that people who find themselves caught up in troublesome relationships and high drama can benefit from some time being truly comfortable and happy with themselves and in their singleness. Only then do you gravitate towards healthier, balanced people and relationships. I've found that to be true for myself, as well - that when I'm single and happiest with me and being single, my "picker" tends to work best. Of course, there are some people who never move beyond the idea that drama is the key to all relationships. But hey, someone's got to keep Jerry Springer (and MTV) in business."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

airtwardo 7 #35 April 29, 2008 You know d00d, I've given you some shit in a good natured way as this thing progressed...I figured it would turn out one of two ways. I'm happy you have chosen the path that is putting YOU first and what you want out of YOUR life. You said 'lesson learned' and after reading what ALL she's put ya through...I believe it. They say what's important in life is the journey not the destination...sure the 'detours' can be interesting, and as long as you get back on the right road to head the direction YOU really wanna go...you'll be fine! Should have put a cheap spy camera somewhere out of sight and record her reaction... Probably too late to do that now. Tuna-Salad 0 #38 April 29, 2008 At this point I think Jason needs to call Dr. Phil, and Make some money off the misery. I had a similar situation once but simply chose to have her offed. The situation worked out well for both of us.... I had to move mountains of blow in order to cover the costs the services provided and even had enough left over to make some jumps . Na seriously from what I know of Jason he is pretty cool people. Good to get away from what brings you down (Figuratively Speaking).
