AggieDave 6 #1 May 2, 2008 What an all around fun movie. Yet another movie of a Marvel Comic that was done well. Anyone else see this movie yet? The story line held pretty true to the characters, development and different suits from the comics. That was nice to see since I was a huge Iron Man reader when I was a kid. Although it was nearly worth the price for admission just to see the Indian Jones 4 trailer.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." BillyVance 35 #2 May 2, 2008 I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD, but today at lunch at Burger King, my two year old got an Iron Man pair of glasses tinted yellow. She kept saying "yeow" while signing "yellow" with them on. woodpecker 0 #3 May 2, 2008 I was actually impressed with Iron Man. Downey Jr. did a great job and the effects were amazing. Out of all the marvel movies I would say Iron Man was the best.SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on? Samurai136 0 #8 May 3, 2008 It was cool. The digital projection was sharp... I think I am going to go see it again today. FYI~ If you're a fan, make sure you hang around for an extra scene that's after the credits. It's the set up for the next movie... I think. I was thinking the same thing when he started tumbling back toward the earth. I just heard on G4tv that they've greenlit at least one more sequel. They said something about Downey Jr's trainer wanting 5 months to get him back in shape Anyway, I liked the movie, and would recomend it to anyone.I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. kbordson 8 #17 May 5, 2008 Kick Ass Movie! With respect to these Marvel movies, some points though: 1. Nick Fury is Caucasion 2. Wolvie is Canadian -makes me wonder what's next.... Cap'n America as a Mexican?!

Cap'n America as a Mexican?! Agreed - I like Jackson, but this politically correct crap is for the birds. All in all, a kick-ass movie though. Went with several women who swore that they were going to be bored - but they liked it just as much too! I grew up reading all manner of Marvel and DC mags, and it so rewarding when you see a movie that does one of the characters justice. The monetary success will guarantee a sequel (all the stars are signed to do 3 movies) and will also open some new doors for director Jon Favreau. While that may be true, if one is to be true to the intent of the author's original work, there is nothing wrong with being true to the characters.
