An Engineer's Guide to Cats

Cat owners staff should appreciate this one.

I'm an engineer, my wife is an engineer, we have a cat. He gets squeezed whether he's been good or bad.

We thought it was both accurate and funny as heck.

Except for Willard, who pretended not to notice.

A true engineer would have 12 cats mounted on an apparatus to allow them to be played melodically.

Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep just last week.

:(:(:(

Yep.

Cat people, keep an eye of the health of your little buddies, and even then treat them like they might not be around tomorrow. Both of mine (coincidentally) became ill around the same time with very little warning. I lost them less than a week apart after having them from kittenhood for 13 years.

And next time you're confronted by a kitchen full of muddy paw prints, or teeth marks in the food you forgot to put away, or hair shed all over your favourite chair, take it from me - those are the first things you'll miss when they're gone. :(

Oh, and take plenty of photos so you won't forget what lovely, lazy lives they enjoyed!

:)

Or you come downstairs for breakfast and find a chunk of sweet potato on the floor and wonder "where the hell did that come from?" and you realize he's been rooting around in the garbage disposal because you tossed it down the disposal but didn't run it...

They're very creative in the ways they find to get in trouble, aren't they?:D But I'm sure I'll miss them when they're gone. As mine are still kittens (just about 9 old months now) I hope I've got a long time to enjoy them. I have to remind myself that the 13 lb. black and white monster is still a kitten sometimes, though...

I'm also sorry for the loss of your kitty. I know how much it sucks. Last year, shortly after moving my cat ran away. Unfortunately I found him a month and a half later on the road having been hit by a car. He was only 2. :(:(:(

But here are some pics of my boy Farrell. I still miss him terribly.

Bumping this because clearly someone with a similar sense of humor has edited this series of videos.

Some are just cute ... others are downright bizarre.
