What is your favorite combination . . .

. . . of cheese and crackers?

I had some really good gouda and white cracker this weekend.

Yumm.

Just take a shiny, oily brick of Velveeta, and cut off hunks of it and drag it through a bowl of mayonaise

that should make a few people gag a little

(real answer - any cheese and any cracker, I'm partial to hot pepper cheeses, baked brie is excellent too)

maybe with a little roast beef too {and to others throwing out meats and toppings}.

well, in that case, my favorite "Cheese and Crackers" combo is:

no crackers, but a round of homemade breaddough smashed into a circle and partially baked, then I add tomato or alfredo sauce, some white meat chicken, a little sausage, some bacon, tomatoes, spinache, artichokes, other stuff. covered in mozerella cheese, sprinkled heavily with parmesian and/or seasoned feta, and then baked until the cheese just starts to brown.

I like to cut this (cheese and crackers) into wedges and eat too much of it.

There are folk that actually phone up a shop and have them delivered. In Ingland, we call them Pizzas... try one, they may actually catch on over there too.

Any cheese and any cracker. But If I had to choose:

Jarlesberg with table water crackers or stoned wheat thins, or no cracker.
Brie on table water crackers, heated for about 10 sec in a microwave.

Smoked gouda in scrambled eggs gets an honorable mention.

My favorite and has been in my family for decades - Wheatsworth crackers with a layer of cream cheese and a dab of home-made red pepper jelly on top.

Wouldn't it get cold after such a long flight?

A baked brie seasoned with garlic, pepper, and whatever other spices Muttley puts on it, with either butter crackers or the rosemary-olive oil triscuits mentioned earlier.

Blues,
Dave

Feta and Parmasean, roma tomato slice, Garlic cream cheese, small piece of bacon on a cracked pepper trisket.
