sonomatommy 0 #1 May 15, 2008 not to get to into detail i had to lay my motorcycle down at 65 mph yesterday after being cut off by another car, which never even stopped by yhe way. after i stopped rolling and tumbling down the freeway i found myself in the center lane with cars bearing down on me. in my state of shock and confusion i just sort of stood there when out of nowhere i felt someone grab my arm and get me out of the road. with total disregard for his own safety he got me to the center median wher i collapsed. this man called 911 and stayed with me until the medics got there. i never even got his name, but the paramedics said he had seen me go down, stopped his car on the other side of the freeway, jumpde the fence and in their words,"Saved my life" which i have to agree with. then as quickly as he was there he was gone. this happened in san rafael at about 8:30 am on the 14th. i know this is a long shot but if anyone in the marin area knows this man please pm me so i can thank him, i owe him my life. as for my injuries...right leg is hamburger, right ankle and rist sprained, no skin left on right palm other than that...unscathed...fucking miracle. Shawndiver 0 #4 May 15, 2008 Wow, glad you're ok, you did'nt even make the Marin IJ today, which is probably a good thing! Not enough blood, gore, and drama to make it onto the front page. If you want to try and reach the guy you might try submitting to the Letters to the Editor section, plenty of exposure that way and someone reading it just might know the guy. woady 0 #7 May 16, 2008 Damn man, glad to hear your somewhat in one piece. Like someone said go to a news paper or news channel and tell them your story. Maybe you'll get some leads. However, if you don't maybe you should just keep your eyes out so eventually you can return the favor to someone else, ya know? You know what's similar between Cops and Firefighters? They both wanna be firefighters.

BIGUN 1,488 #15 May 16, 2008 May I suggest you place an ad/editorial in the newspaper with the highest circulation in the area explaining the details and thanking your guardian angel. They may even pick it up as a Humanitarian piece and do an article on it to ensure he gets the recognition/thanks deserved.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
