livendive 8 #51 April 30, 2008 So you might better qualify as a friend-whore than I do. It's not like that's a bad thing, at least not coming from a hugslut (tm) like me. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

madhatter 0 #55 May 20, 2008 OK, so by reading people's posts you kinda get to know 'em & I don't mind being friends with people I haven't met in person. Exchanging e-mails or pm's help, but there are many people on here that I already feel I know a little. I'm still not going to request friends just for shits & giggles, though. What to do when you receive a friend request from someone you've never even noticed around here, let alone exchanged posts/emails/pm's with? Even better, when you view the person's profile their friend list is hidden... Anyone else noticed a bit of friend whoring starting up? A VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! The friend link doesn't ask for confirmation. Combined with laptop touch pads that move the cursor and click when your hands move around and you're bound to have friends you don't want. I've sent at least two friend requests accidentally that way. And one intentionally, when I wanted to see if a single click would actually send friend invitations. It does.
