I think this finale is a really tough one to guess who will come out the winner.

Ryan mentioned that atleast one of the weeks each had the most votes. He also mentioned that the top 2 were only 1 million votes apart one of the weeks. I should also mention that neither has ever been in the bottom 3, which is always a good sign.

I do believe that David Cook should be the winner but I think it will be David A. The reason for this is a calculated guess. I make this guess because I believe the largest demographic of voters is the young teenage girls. Being that Cook is 25 and Archuleta is 17, I think he has the advantage.

I do admit that I could be wrong. We shall see.

So, make your guess before you hear tonight's performances.

I hope the winner is David Cook. I think you are right in thinking they will go with David A.

They will come to their senses, admit their mistakes and give it to Syesha.

Then David A can begin a lucrative career singing powerful and uplifting theme songs to Disney animated features and also cater a decent career singing songs for the teenage girl crowd until they, with their normal attention span of 27 days, move on to the next thing. Finally ending the commercial recording career at 26 doing fill ins for Hollywood Squares but still singing themes for Disney animated features and likely bit acting roles for certain unnamed wholesome television networks.

David C can begin a career doing extremely good rock music and rock ballads giving listeners goosebumps when he hits particularly strong bits in the songs. He'll earn enough money to get the forehead reduction he's been dreaming of.

Otherwise, I think that David Cook and his Army of "Cougars for Cook" will take the night. Tweens all over America will be sent to be early tonight crying after Both Mom and Granny stole their cell phones to keep them from voting for the dull yet incredibly not so bright with the kid with a good voice and no personality. And THAT is my official Prediction.

It's going to be "Archie" as they called him tonight as the new American Idol winner. David Cook will be just fine as runner up because he'll have contracts out the wazoooo!

Prior to tonight's performances I really was leaning toward Cook. Tonight Archuleta earned it. I agree with Rocky. Archuleta is going to win and Cook has nothing to worry about.
