This was an awesome weekend. 4 way scrambles at Skydive Orange, Va. Did some coaching, but mostly just had alot of fun jumps. The weather all three days was perfect.

30 tandems, took a 70 year old grandma (who's son jumped with her and was more scared than her). Flew the Cessna on a search and rescue mission for a cutaway in the swamp.

10 good jumps at the Emerald Coast Beach Boogie. 5 to the beach and 5 to the DZ. A few attempted tubes, horny gorillas, hog flops, and hybrids to the beach. Some good RW jumps to the DZ. Was 3 short of making my 500th at this boogie, but should hit it at Skyfest. owed for my 1st jumps shooting video.

Also released some of Skinnyshrek's ashes over the beach with PsychoBob, Popsjumper, Simplyputsi, Bolas, and a few others on one of the sunset loads on Saturday. That was a good jump. Blue skies Shrek.

5 jumps total, including taking my nephew Ted on a tandem. He's 19, a great athlete, and a super kid. He says I've ruined skiing for him. Now he wants to be a skydiver. My sister is going to kill me.

I bought beer for my 5000th jump. Made a nice 6 way with Vskydiver and some friends. Got pied to beat hell after jumping. Thanks for doing it on the lawn next to the garden hose, everyone.

Yes, it was a nice weekend although much time spent talking said nephew's friends into making those tandem jumps with him and then having the rest of the weekend be rainy.

Attached is a picture of John's lovely Pieing. I had bought some lovely Marie Calendar chocolate cream pies to put in his face but everyone made such a fuss that we ended up just eating them and putting whipped cream topped with a bunch of chocolate syrup on paper plates. It did the job. We all got to lick it off him and it was tasty.

Well I was trying for the ankles, as that is how I was taught Maybe we can do a retake at skyfest but out of a casa we can do a 5 or 6 way possibly.

The ashdive was a good dive. I was pretty happy to be a part of it.

It's possible you might actually only see me jumping at skyfest with people I don't know, yet. That is my goal at least. I'm sure there will be a few jumps though with the regulars. How could there not be?
