Of course, green canopies aren't the easiest to find when they're cut away over someplace green. But most DZs are brown, right?

I have to agree. I bought a demo canopy that had apparently never been used as such (or at all). Everytime a mfr rep see's it, they tend to stare. Only one has ever asked about it.

And I'm not CRAZY, just STRANGE.

Fluorescent colors with a big Aerodyne logo on the bottom skin.

1. Easy (easier) to see for traffic patterns and in various weather
2. Easy (easier) to find cut aways
3. Easy (easier) for reps and gear shops to tell which canopies are yours
4. The addition of a large logo establishes and/or reinforces Aerodyne brand recognition

How much does adding a logo really cost you guys? Especially if its your own logo that will be put on multiple identical canopies? Mass production (not that canopies get massed produced) has to lower this cost.

You should at least do it for the demo canopies you take to boogies, and demos that go to various larger DZ's where they will be seen by large numbers of individuals, often from around the world (Perris, Eloy, Deland, Empuriabrava etc.)

Maybe the larger demos where they will be seen by newer jumpers who are in the market to purchase gear.

Just think, every time they have a good canopy overhead, they will look up and see your logo...positively reinforcing your brand. Condition them to believe the A logo and a properly inflated/functioning main are one in the same.

To be honest, and I LOVE Aerodyne but if all the stock canopies came with logos Id not want to buy a stock just for the simple fact that one of the things I love about aerodyne is there quality without the fluff. I am not a walking billboard unless its for free. Theres an idea.... Dom, Ill jump a logo stock canopy if its free... how many 60 jump wonders have you sponsered lol

It's the man hours that it takes to stitch the logo onto the canopy that is expensive. That wouldn't change no matter how many we do.

I think black white and red makes sense, aerodyne as a company seem to like these colours, just take a look at their website.
