Remster 30 #26 June 7, 2008 Thats why I asked Scott which 5 stars he went to. There arent that many in the workd! I think even Chez Maxime lost a michelin star recently and is a 4 star... Leaving only La Tour D'argent as the only parisian 5 star.Remster
bigway 4 #27 June 7, 2008 It is very easy to lose a michillin star. I have only ever worked in an establishment that had 2 of them. Working there was a challenge, not a very fun kitchen to work in when they are so serious about trying to get a third michellin star... or even keeping the two they had. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . I've had better steaks at the prop than I had there."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

Out door cafe or fancy restaurant, they all seemed about the same when it came to the quality of the food. Remster: Quote It must be your unsophisticated American palate Which 5 stars did you go to? Considering all of the places I ate at while there, I'd have to say the only real 5 star I ate at was McD's. Seriously, I've had better meals at the Bent prop than I had while in France. The only thing I found that tasted very good was the wide assortment of ice creams and gelatos that could be bought on every corner ice cream store. Considering I was in a high end resort area, I expected the cuisine would have been better. I had the best food in my life in Paris. I wonder why you did not.....But, I went to many out of the way places and sidewalk cafe's. I ate breakfast at the same place every morning and the last morning even the chef came out to thank me and tell me goodbye. Generally, if only French people were eating there, it was a place I would try. And McDonalds was so much better than the crap they serve us. In Fact, I ate McDonalds at least once a day while there and maybe once a year here! Did you see Jim while in Paris?
