skybytch 273 #1 June 17, 2008 When you don't want a particular time to get here, that time approaches at ludicrous speed. But when you are chomping at the bit impatient for a particular moment to arrive, time moves slower than that motorhome dragging an SUV up a two lane mountain road in front of you. Why is that? skydiver30960 0 #4 June 18, 2008 Nothing is so reassuring, or disappointing, as the passage of time. No matter how bad or painful a moment may be, it will pass. No matter how wonderful or perfect a moment may be, it will pass. I'd love to think I came up with this on my own. I'm sure I didn't. Although I can't place the quote, it's been a long time since anyone had an original idea and if anyone were ever to have one it sure as hell wouldn't be me. But whatever, I just know that the thoughts above have helped me survive some bad times, and have helped me relish and live in some good ones. flyangel2 2 #6 June 18, 2008 Twenty-four hours from now, I'll be arriving at DIA to wait the hour to board my flight. Wow! Only 24 hours to get last minute stuff done? Damn, I better get off the PC and get organized May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
