I spent quite a bit on toys and scratching posts for my cats, and they still insist on playing with pull-up cords and scratching the couch. And as far as water purifiers for the dog, Larry the Cable Guy said it best: "Hell, he just ate a turd 5 minutes ago." The best things in life are dangerous. tigra 0 #5 June 19, 2008 My cats love their water fountain and I don't really think its frivilous. Cats need a lot of water and tend to not drink from a water bowl if they can't "see" the water. I decided the fountain thing was a better option than leaving a tap running for them all day. I made that decision after I bought my house and had to start paying the water bill! sunshine 2 #7 June 19, 2008 My cats will only drink out of glass or ceramic - they will not drink out of plastic. Damn snobs... Oh, and Jelly likes to stick his paws in the water bowl and lick the water off his paw.
