iluvtofly 0 #1 June 19, 2008 So after I spend the extra money to buy my kitties a nice water dish (one of those ones with the fountain that runs the water through a filter) I find them in my bathtub licking the inside of the faucet. Now I see what kinda of thanks I get for spoiling my kitties.

millertimeunc 0 #4 June 19, 2008 Any money spent on frivilous items for your pets is usually a waste. I spent quite a bit on toys and scratching posts for my cats, and they still insist on playing with pull-up cords and scratching the couch. And as far as water purifiers for the dog, Larry the Cable Guy said it best: "Hell, he just ate a turd 5 minutes ago." The best things in life are dangerous. tigra 0 #5 June 19, 2008 My cats love their water fountain and I don't really think its frivilous. Cats need a lot of water and tend to not drink from a water bowl if they can't "see" the water. I decided the fountain thing was a better option than leaving a tap running for them all day. I made that decision after I bought my house and had to start paying the water bill! micduran 0 #6 June 19, 2008 My cat prefers to drink out of dirty tires or the toilet instead of his fresh, clean bowl. Be patient with the faults of others; they have to be patient with yours.
sunshine 2 #7 June 19, 2008 My cats will only drink out of glass or ceramic - they will not drink out of plastic. Damn snobs... Oh, and Jelly likes to stick his paws in the water bowl and lick the water off his paw. This of course gets his hair in the bowl so Peanut doesn't wanna drink it til i dump it and give her hair free water....oh, the joys of living with cats. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug!
